We all know how important being able to mix with other people and do activities that we enjoy are for our well-being. As an activities worker or co-ordinator you’ll organise activities for people and support them to take part. You’ll spend time talking to people about the sorts of activities they’d like to do and organising activities ensuring they are tailor-made to the people who will be accessing them. If you’ve a passion or a hobby here’s your chance to share it with others – cooking, sport, gardening, woodwork, anything really. You would usually work in a care home, a day centre or supported living accommodation.
By completing and submitting this application form, you are agreeing for the document to be forwarded to independent care providers in your locality to be considered for any suitable vacancies they may have.
JOB SPEC:
- Pay will vary based on the role and employer.
- Example pay taken from real adverts across the North West
- £9.01 – £10.18 per hour
- Part-time/Full-time roles available
- Training available (do not have to be qualified)

From November 11th 2021 it is national requirement that anyone entering a care home be fully vaccinated. This will apply to most people unless there is an emergency or a medical exemption. The Government has more recently announced that this will be extended to all frontline health and social care workers from April 2022.
